About Baxter
Baxter is a 6-7 kilo low maintenance jack Russell terrier who is on the search for his new forever home. His ideal home would be one that gives him exceptional cuddles and lounge time and a frequent amount of exercise as he loves a little walk and adventure.
He is good with other dogs and is now living in foster care with 10 plus dog ranging in sizes and has shown to be quite tolerant with them. He could easily be rehomed to a household with another friendly and social dog but would equally love being a very much loved and adored only dog.
He is a little overweight so would do good in a home that can maintain a good diet and exercise program for him. And he has been exposed to both livestock and kids in his foster home and was nice and calm with both. So a household with either may suit.
He hasn't been tested with cats so we are unsure how he is with these. A home with safe and secure fencing with no gaps is a must but he is also suitable for rural fencing as he his currently being fostered on a property with paddock fencing and he never strays further than his foster mums eye range.
Baxter is loving and low energy and would suit almost any household. He is fully grown and friendly and shows to have a confident and calm nature around others
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
