About Oscar
Oscar is an absolutely outstanding boy. Having been with us for some time now, we have grown to know and love everything about Oscar. This young Rottweiler has a sweet disposition and laps up all the attention he can get at the shelter. Oscar is just 2 years old, so he would benefit from continued training and socialisation with other doggies and as many humans as possible. Oscar is a boy who loves to be by your side, and would benefit from a home where he is made to feel part of the family, and enjoy being involved in their activities, going to the beach, for walks and play sessions and being a dog who contributes to the family fun. Oscar is loveable, cuddly, happy and friendly and also has some slight basic obedience training such as sit and wait for food, and he loves the tennis ball, which he will collect and bring back to you. Oscar is a medium to large dog that will need a backyard to call his own, and a home where there are no cats around. Due to his strength he would require a confident, strong and assertive handler, previous experience with Rottweilers would be a bonus. Oscar has previously lived with another dog and may be ok to do so again, but would suit living with a female dog rather than a male. We absolutely love Oscar to bits and whilst initially shy in his kennel, Oscar warms up to people quickly when they offer him treats or a fun time. This juvenile boy has his bag packed and ready to leave his shelter life behind, and we can’t wait to see him off!If you are interested in Oscar please contact shelter staff.
