About Guvnah DL1467
Guvnah is an independent happy chap, he is content to rest at home while you work but is always very pleased to see you. He loves to get his belly rubbed, you could do that all day!
He has started to play ball, and when he has had enough he will go and lay down. Quite a strong dog, he can pull initially when going out for walks, and isn't too keen on other dogs. With practice, he is getting better at passing them on walks, so ongoing training will keep him on track.
Guvnah is very food orientated, his tail just never stops wagging when he is eating. He will respond well to treats when training; he sits well, sits at the road, and we are working on him giving the paw. Not tested with cats (though ok with mice!), and best with teens+.
He currently enjoys two 30 min walks a day, longer at the weekends, and likes to play ball some nights too. He is a really happy-go-lucky, quiet dog (he still hasn’t barked yet) and will make a fabulous addition to the right family!
If you'd like to meet the gorgeous Guvnah and give him the loving retirement home he deserves, please contact us by email to apply.
Medical notes
Guvnah has had a chronic skin condition on his back and hair is a little sparse at the back end, it has really improved though and his scratching has really reduced. He will benefit from a natural food diet with plenty of fish oils or flaxseed, he is having coconut oil rubbed into his back a few times a week and he loves that!
