About Busta ~ Dog/Kid Friendly
Busta was in and out of the pound as a reclaimed stray but the last time was never reclaimed. Unfortunately, that left him in the pound for half of his life where he became stressed and began losing weight.
Now that he has been in foster care he has gained weight and shown how much of a big, beautiful goofball he really is! Even though Busta has been diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia he still loves to play fetch with his toys, leap and bound around the backyard and most of all, snooze in the sun. Busta loves to run and play with dogs but can be a bit overwhelming for some smaller dogs as sometimes he forgets how big he is.
Busta is not suited to family that has a cat , livestock or any other small pets as he has a high prey drive. He is doing well with his training and nearly mastered the basics. However, Busta would benefit from further training to help him develop into a well-rounded pooch. He is crate and house trained and walks well on the lead. Busta has been a very good boy around kids however, supervision is always a must due to his size.
Is Busta the goofball for you?
Medical notes
Busta was recently diagnosed with Canine Hip Dysplasia. This requires ongoing medicine, reduced exercise, joint supplements and lifestyle changes.
