Mornington Peninsula Community Animal Shelter
My name is Finn and I am desperately seeking a lap to call my own. I arrived at the Shelter after doing it tough on the streets as a stray. I may look a little worn around the edges, but inside I contain a heart of gold! I am a real smoocher and love nothing more than a scratch under the chin or a nice, long cuddle. If you get me really purring, I even drool a little to show my affection. A genuine Romeo, I would love to live in a home where I can be your cuddly companion and will follow you around all day like a shadow. I will even put on a performance, leaping and jumping for your pleasure, as long as a pat is my reward.
I am not fussed about other cats and would probably settle in well with another feline friend, providing they didn’t harass me too much or chase me – even though I’m a big boy, I have quite a placid personality. I may even be good with younger children if they are used to handling adult cats. I am fully litter trained and very easy to please when it comes to food. I enjoy a brush and playing with my scratching post – a must-have for any cat friendly household! I do also enjoy a frolic with a feather toy and little squeaky plastic mice. Don’t let my masculine appearance fool you. Beneath the façade of bravado, I’m a soft-hearted and sensitive gentleman. I have been vaccinated and FIV tested and have also had treatment to protect me against fleas and intestinal worms.
If you are looking for a lover, not a fighter, I am definitely the cat for you. Please contact the Shelter to arrange a meet and greet by submitting an enquiry today. I would love to meet you and show you how wonderful I am. I’m tall, dark, and handsome, and ready to start the next chapter of my life as a beloved pet!
Please email the shelter and ask for an Adoption Application Form.
