About Chance
Chance is alert, clever, playful and happy. He loves to romp with his litter mates and plays and sleeps all day. He is food motivated, and a typical puppy finding his way in the world. Yes he will chew, yes he will dig holes, yes he will play with toys and sticks and tear up bedding. HE IS A PUPPY!!
Chance is a mix of a terrier and possibly a larger black dog like a labrador but we have no real way of knowing his breeding. His litter mates look like border collies but the vet believes that there may have been two fathers to the litter. In his profile pictures I have included a pic of his mum and as you can see he is nothing like her but may be a bit smaller as an adult, having inherited some of her genes but you can never tell. If you are not prepared for a medium - large sized dog please do not adopt Chance.
Medical notes
Chance will be desexed in two weeks time and will not be ready to go until after he has healed. Chance has had two C3 vaccinations.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
