You know, there are soooo many famous Georges out there…. Prince George, Boy George, George Columbaris, George of the Jungle…but you haven’t met the best of them yet. Oh, haven’t I introduced myself? That would be me, I’m George! I’m a bit of a dude and I’m looking for a home that likes to be active. Although, like most greyhounds, I’m pretty comfy on the lounge, I do like a rumble and zoom around. If there are teenage boys at your place I’d be just the ticket – I’d entertain them for ages in the yard with a footy. And also, I heard teenagers like lots of food, so maybe I’d get to clean up all kinds of stuff left lying around so I’d save you the job? Yep, I’ve got it all figured out – you need someone to clean up after your teenagers well that would be a job for me! Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
