Toby

Toby is a 5 month old staffy cross mastiff who made his way into the care of GAR by no fault of his own.

This kind natured, gentle boy is a little unsure of the world. He is going to need a carer that is willing to work with him to help build his confidence via training, setting boundaries, and encouragement. He can become frightened when told off and try to hide. Having said that he is very well behaved and doesn’t need telling off too often!

He’s such a good boy it’s easy for forget he is only a puppy.

Toby has been in foster care with another dog and has learnt a lot through this companionship. We believe that he would be best suited to having a doggy friend in his forever home as this will help him come out of his shell and thrive.

During his time in foster care Toby has mastered the art of using a doggy door, and is toilet trained.
