About BJ ~ Red Cattle Dog x Dalmatian (On Trial 1/11/16)
BJ is male, 18 months old, Red Cattle Dog x Dalmatian. He is very good with dogs, cats, kittens, children and horses. He's a friendly, charming, and smart young boy and is a perfect family dog. He has very handsome markings and a soft coat.
He enjoys our walks and is good off lead and comes back when I whistle or wave my arms.
BJ is fully housetrained and likes to spend time inside with his people. He could be outside more if he had another dog for company. He likes to keep me company in the bathroom when I have a bath and in the kitchen when I cook. He likes to drink from the bath tap when I am in the bath and will put his feet in or get in if he wants a wash. He sleeps inside at this time.
BJ has been living in a unit with no yard. His owner is sadly letting him go to a new home so that he can have a yard to run around and sun bake in. It doesn't have to be a big yard so long as he gets a walk each day. BJ loves company so if everyone in your household works full time BJ would need another dog for company while you're at work. But if you only work part time or work from home then BJ would be fine without a canine housemate.
BJ is a great dog and a great character. He'll make some lucky person, couple or family very, very happy.
For more information or to meet BJ, please contact Anne by phone/text 0421 037 343 or email anne.mctaggart@gmail.com. BJ is in foster care in New Lambton, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
BJ's fee is $200 and he is desexed, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
Medical notes
Healthy young boy
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
