About Mason DL1466
"One of my favourite things about Mason is his 'goofballness', particularly when playing with a tennis ball, which coincidentally is one of his favourite things to do. You only have to throw it once in a while because he entertains himself throwing it around!" - from Mason's current foster Mum.
Mason really is a delightful boy who just loves his people; he is an easy-going dog who makes a great addition to your home, he just goes with the flow. If you want to play, he’s up for it immediately, but if you'd like him calm instead, he can easily be settled.
A loyal and curious boy, Mason likes to be where you are. He may follow you around in the beginning when he’s still a bit uncertain, but he soon settles in, finds confidence and is a quick learner! He doesn't go overboard when you get home but is visibly happy to see you.
Mason is house trained and polite, he never begs for anything. He doesn't lose much fur, loves being brushed, and usually stays in the same sleeping spot all night. He enjoys walks, sitting on the back seat to go for a drive or having a play in the yard. He loves a sneaky treat of ham or pork... but you will really win his heart with chicken & cheese!
He is a clever boy and takes direction well. You only have to show Mason what you want him to do on walks, or what is his to eat and play with, and what not to touch, and he follows your lead.
What is Mason looking for in a home? As he isn't compatible with other pets, Mason is suited to being your one & only and having all the belly rubs to himself! He hasn't yet met kids while in our care.
Understandably, strange noises & dark places can give him the heebie jeebies. He can be cautious of new people at first, and he doesn't much like feeling left behind, so he will be looking for some reassurance.
Mason's LOVES include squeaky toys and playing with balls & ropes! He loves chewing on toys too, but he's a good boy and only chews things you've given to him.
If you'd like to welcome Mason into your loving home as a foster dog or even better as a permanent addition, please contact us by email today to apply!
