Hank is extremely affectionate and loving, a super sook and a homebody.

Hank walks well on the lead and loves a stroll through the park or a swim at the beach. But he loves being home just as much, curled up next to you or following you around as you go about your business. He always wants a pat and will look up at you with his beautiful brown eyes, asking for just a little more. Hank is full of personality, and will make you laugh every day.

Hank is timid in new situations with new people and dogs because of his past experiences. He was teased and hit by his first family many years ago and it was mainly the children, so he is best with older calmer children. To add to his rough start, he was recently attacked on a nightly walk, when 2 large dogs escaped from their yard. He needs a little bit of time to get comfortable with new people and dogs, but once he is he will love you for ever. Hank would love a quiet home where he can keep you company and potter around the house or garden with you. He would love a quiet couple or retired family.

Hank has been training with Ros Taber at Pawsitive Connections since November last year. He is really great at training and loves it, and every day he is better and better.
