About Casey
Introducing our lovely girl Casey, a 6 year old female chocolate Labrador. She is desexed, microchipped, heartworm treated and up to date with her vaccinations. She has no major medical requirements but at 30kg she is currently on a diet with a couple of kilos still to lose.
Casey is dog friendly. She is currently fostering with four dogs of all different sizes and ages and she gets on well with all of them. She has come from a single dog environment so would do well either on her own or in a multiple dog home. She is very people oriented and would love a family to spend a lot of time with her. She is good with children but maybe a bit boisterous for the very young kiddies. She is untested with cats, pocket pets & livestock.
Casey loves to go for walks, and whenever possible she will jump into the pond and go for a swim. Even on the coldest day she will jump in. She is a true water baby. She travels well in the car and would be suitable to go on holidays with her new family. Camping with her new family would be a great situation for Casey.
Casey is coming along well with her training and is looking for a family who will continue her training. She has no major behavioural problems. She walks well on lead, is able to hold a drop and stay, recalls well on lead but still needs a bit of work in off lead situations.
