About Buster ~ 1yo JR x Mini Foxy (On Trial 23/10/16)
Hi, this is Buster and he is a one year old Jack Russell x Mini Foxy boy. He is adorable and wants nothing more than his own human(s) to love and a doggy friend to play and snuggle with.
Buster’s favourite things in the world are: playing, food, snuggling close to his human and playing.
His daily pursuits include:
- Playing with his foster brother
- Breakfast
- Running laps of the yard or house
- Daytime napping in between playing
- Watching TV
- Talking to the animals on the TV
- Getting into the car and going on adventures
- Dinner time
- Getting into his pyjamas
- Snuggling into his bed at night
Not a fan of: getting up in the morning
With this in mind, Buster’s new home must have:
1. an active family with children over the age of 6yrs or no children;
2. a doggy friend to play with; and
3. a human(s) who will be able to be around most of the time or have an active lifestyle they can include him in.
Buster’s new family will also need patience - he is a terrier by name and nature so experience with terriers is beneficial. His manners are still a work in progress, but with consistency and repetition he learns. He would also benefit from ongoing obedience training. New situations can worry him or he can become over-excited, but with more positive exposure to new things this should be overcome.
If your family ticks all these boxes and you are able to give this wonderful furry little guy a loving home, please contact Buster’s foster carer Emma by emailing emmkaybeedrn@hotmail.com. Buster is located in Mayfield, NSW (Newcastle area) and is available for adoption interstate.
Buster's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
