About Cooper ~ Staffy X (on trial 21/10/17)
Introducing Cooper! Cooper is an affectionate and rambunctious, 17 month Staffy X Ridgeback boy. He is a lovable and lively boy, and is just a big old goofball. He loves to play with other dogs and spend time with his human companions.
Cooper is very intelligent and knows basic commands but would benefit from some dog training classes. He loves walks but will need some training to slow down on his lead. He would make a great running partner! He is nothing but friendly to other dogs and needs to have another dog companion to keep amused and busy, unless his family is home all the time.
Coop would suit a home that has older children as he might accidentally knock over small humans when playing in his clumsy, adorable way. He loves being close to his humans and would love them to be around a lot of the time.
Cooper would prefer to sleep inside and knows how to use a doggy door. He will need a secure yard with 6ft fences.
For more information or to meet Cooper, please contact Annette via email annetteoregan@hotmail.com or on 0418 321 663. Cooper is in foster care in Thornton, NSW (25 mins drive from Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Cooper's adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
