About Gracie ~ Border Collie x (on trial 14/10/16)
Gorgeous Gracie is 12 week old Border Collie x Kelpie puppy. Gracie is an absolute delight, she is one of the sweetest dogs we have had the pleasure of fostering.
Gracie loves everyone (especially kids) but also loves all people and her other doggy companions. Gracie is only young but is a very clever girl and sits on command and waits for her dinner.
Gracie would love a new home with another dog as a companion and preferably some kids to play and cuddle up with, but she will take any love you can give her.
Gracie will need lots of exercise as she grows up, being the breed that she is, so an active family would suit her to a T!
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
As Gracie is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when she's 4 or 5 months old.
You will fall in love with this girl the minute she comes up to you.
For more information or to meet Gracie, please contact her foster carer Suzanne via email chazzybear777@gmail.com. Gracie is located 20 mins north of Raymond Terrace.
Gracie's adoption fee is only $500 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
