About Leeroy
Leeroy is a gorgeous boy with a big personality. He is energetic, very affectionate and loves to have your company, but will sunbake outside by himself for a few hours.
Leeroy is house-trained and generally well-behaved, though he can sometimes be a bit cheeky with his kisses. He is so keen to share the love he has a tendency to jump up and kiss his new friends. Leeroy is working on controlling his affection. His foster mother says that he is a happy, obedient dog who has not barked once in the house.
Outside, Leeroy loves to run and jump and play with other dogs and is always friendly and happy, even when other dogs bark at him. He loves getting pats from passers-by. Leeroy is not very keen on loud traffic or trams, so would prefer a quiet street to live and walk on. Leeroy is not very interested in toys or playing fetch, but will walk well on a lead for an hour without any sign of tiring out.
Leeroy will need to be in a home where he gets active play and walks to keep him content. He would be best suited to a family where he has regular human company, or another dog to play with. At this point in time we haven’t observed Leeroy with cats.
This athletic boy can jump up to five feet, so requires a standard six foot fence around his yard.
Leeroy is a beautiful soul who is looking for a loving family to give him the wonderful life he so deserves. Will that be with you?

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
