About Roy
Roy is a one-year-old Manx. Roy has a lovely red tabby coat with tuxedo markings; his name is an Anglicisation of the Manx word ruy, meaning red, and refers to his lovely vivid colouring! Roy is the type of Manx known as a “rumpy riser” or “riser” and has a little bob-tail, like a bunny rabbit! Roy was born into a cat colony; he was the final kitten caught when the colony was rescued, and ended up being left alone for several days, which made him a little fearful of humans and gave him separation anxiety. Roy is friendly with humans, but he prefers to sit beside humans rather than cuddle. As a former colony kitten, Roy gets along very well with other cats and would need to go to a home with a cat-friendly cat, as he loves company! Roy gets along very well with his foster brother Luc, and they would go well together.
