Little ~ 4mo Border Collie x ~ On Trial 15/10/16

Hi, my name is Little and I’m a female border collie x, just over 4 months old. I am very smart, active and independent.

I have been named Little because when I first came into care I was rather little, but I have fattened up now and have really grown into my personality. I love to play with other dogs (and show how fast and agile I am) and meet your visitors - I am polite and won’t jump up or push through doors. I have learnt to sit, stay, lie down and come when called (well most of the time) and am toilet trained.

I’m happy to play outside with my toys while you are out and I don’t bark or get anxious when you leave. I am happy to sleep inside or outside and would love another dog in the family. Being a working dog, I will need ongoing mental stimulation and exercise with my new family.

I do like being around people and knowing that you are close, but I am a bit timid when you grab at me and am still getting use to being on a lead. I will need a bit more training and encouragement to feel happy being handled. I am looking forward to going to my new family who can give me lots of care and training and in return I will be a very loyal and much loved companion.
