About Honey Bear (Cat/Child/Dog Friendly)
Meet Honey Bear, a fresh break out from the pound. Honey Bear has had a hard life and multiple previous litters in her day, but is the sweetest small to medium Whippet Mix I've ever met.
Honey Bear is in foster care in a family environment with children aged 7 and 10 year old. She is house and crate trained. Honey Bear is estimated to be 7 to 8 years of age of LOW ENERGY level. She has a very calm temperament, good with dogs, non reactive off or on lead. Always wants love and attention and can be left for long periods and non destructive insoide the home. Honey Bear has no food aggression, and no separation anxiety seen in foster care. Walks perfectly on a lead, beside you and can walked by a 7 year old child. Honey Bear happily follow you around the home and sun bake in the sun on the deck. Honey Bear is timid and we unsure of her past, but after a few minutes in new surroundings she is quickly adjusts. Honey Bear has basic obedience training, and can sit and shake!
Honey Bear could easily live with older children, other cats and non boisterous dogs. She is a short, small framed girl of 12kg, who has been a delight to foster and look after. Honey Bear has shown no interest in balls or dog toys but does like liver treats.

Adoption details
Wally's Doggie Rescue offers a 2 week trial period to ALL pups/dogs adopted by us. We give ongoing support to our adopters through a CLOSED FACEBOOK page where you can ask training questions, share your photos and chat to other people who have adopted a Wally's Doggie rescue animal. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
When enquiring about HONEY BEAR, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (rental agreement to be sited), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you. Wally's Doggie Rescue would also arrange a yard check of your property or have photos/videos sent of your yard, to ensure it is fully fenced and adequate shelter is provided.
