About Trixie
Meet Trixie the JUG - Jack Russell Terrier x Pug. This girl will melt your heart when you meet her. Trixie appears to have had a bit of a rough start in life and can be a little bit timid with new people and new experiences. Trixie however loves human company and pats. Once she is comfortable with you she will give you undivided love and attention.
Trixie is 16 months old and has had very little training. Her adoption fee is $450 and she will go to her new home desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated.
Trixie is being desexed on Wednesday and once she has recovered she will be ready to head to a forever loving home. Trixie has been around children but we think she would be better matched to a quieter home - maybe with older children. Trixie is not good with cats or chickens.
Trixie will need some extra training around sitting on command etc. She is a quick learner and with positive reinforcement and a yummy treat it will not take her long to learn new things. Trixie loves going for walks (which she is now doing on a daily basis in her foster home). Trixie has been a total outdoor dog previously but she is learning quickly the benefits of having time inside ( she is loving the comforts of a snuggle on a lap). She will needs some further training however if he is to continue to be an indoor / outdoor girl, which is certainly our preference for her.
