About Neil
This is Neil, he’s a big teddy bear. Even though he’s always lived with other dogs and gets along well even with new dogs, he really loves his cuddles. Being at the lower end of the scale with his energy, his exercise needs aren’t as demanding as many other Great Danes. He gets excited, bounces around, enjoys fetching a ball maybe a few times, throws his toy around a bit then he’s done. So long as he had his couch and good company, this level of activity would be sufficient on a rainy day when he couldn’t get out for his 30 minute walk.
Neil is happy to meet new people and seems comfortable in new surroundings. He hasn’t had much to do with children in his life so we’d avoid him living with toddlers but we’re happy to consider a home with older children as he’s not a nervous dog. He’s very eager to please his people and has quite a soft gentle nature. He could be happy with a very relaxed female large or giant dog but we also feel he would be quite happy being an only dog with plenty of human company and his fluffy stuffed toys. He is happy to play and share his fluffy toys with the people but not with other dogs.
Neil really is the big sook!
