About Winnie
Introducing Winnie!
Winnie is a very sweet little girl who is quickly getting used to lots of love and affection. She has had a confusing start to life but is now settling into her foster home and getting used to all the attention she is receiving.
Winnie has been a little shy at first but warms to people quite quickly. For this reason she is looking for a home where she will be offered a calm introduction and time to settle. She is a very loving girl with lots to offer her new family.
Winnie has been getting along well with the other dogs in her foster home and we would like to find her a home with a relaxed and energetic desexed male dog to help her continue developing into a wonderful confident girl. She has so much potential and is trying very hard to please her foster carers.
Obedience training will also be a great help for Winnie to understand what is expected from her and it is a great way to help her develop a trust with her new family.
She has had to work for her food in the past but is learning to eat nicely near other dogs. She is not aggressive but does feel the need to protect her food. Once she realises her food is for her she settles and eats it calmly.
Winnie is getting used to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle and we would like her to have the same opportunities in her new home. She is learning to go outside when she needs to go to the toilet. She is a very smart girl and catches on very quickly to learning new things.
Considering she is a 'working' breed Winnie will be looking for a home with a good size yard where she will have plenty of room to run and play.
Regular outings and walks will also provide her with very important exercise, stimulation and socialisation with people and other dogs.
Winnie has not been tested with cats so preference will go to a home with NO CATS
If you think you can offer this adorable girl a happy future we look forward to hearing from you
