Inside & Outside dog
Lovely Lola is a cattle dog cross, and whilst she has the colouring of a cattle dog, she has the body shape of a short haired border collie. She is young, pretty faced, loads of fun, and her antics are bound to make you laugh. Lola is currently in foster with three other dogs and mixes in well. She plays non stop with the alpha male cattle dog and takes correction from him well. At home in the yard she is fully prepared to be a guard dog and alert you to any strangers if that is what you wish, if not, a quick ‘no’ and she understands her services aren’t required. She is sweet natured and playful with other dogs, but will stand up for herself if pushed into a corner. Lola is crate trained and quite obedient. She is very loving to her humans and loves to snuggle but also is often found cuddled up to her dog friends sleeping blissfully.
Given Lola’s youth and her breeding, she requires a good walk each day to expend that energy so an active family or a family with another active dog would best suit. Whilst she loves playing with female dogs, the perfect match for Lola with be an alpha male. She loves toys – the more the better, and she willingly shares them with other dogs. She loves swimming at the beach and inviting chase with other dogs. She has learnt not to chase the lorikeets visiting the bird bath or the maggies waiting patiently for bone fragments on bone day. She is intelligent and therefore if you show her what behaviour is acceptable and what is not, she is only too happy to please. This is one fun loving little lady awaiting an owner who wants a dog who sparkles.
Medical notes
Lola is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped & heartworm tested.

ADOPTION:
To meet, adopt or find out more details on this animal, please fill in our adoption application at our website- http://www.safehavenanimalrescueinc.com
Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. The 10 day trial period commences once the animal is collected.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW.
