About Honey Badger
Honey Badger might look a bit rough around the edges at the moment, but in a few months, he will be the most magnificent boy, with a golden tinged, flowing coat!
Honey badger was rescued from a rural pound in a terrible state, he was horribly matted and had shredded his poor skin, due to untreated flea allergy dermatitis. He is now feeling a million bucks and will be looking it too, very soon!
Honey Banger is the sweetest, friendliest boy you could ever hope to meet. He is extremely cat friendly and is looking for a home with an existing VERY friendly cat/s, as he is terribly saddened by being hissed or growled at and thinks all cats should be his instant besties!
Honey badger has dog like tendencies (he made a very convincing case for getting a treat when the dogs do!) and while he's a bit on the naughty side initially (jumping on benches, stealing unsupervised food, etc!) he is very smart and accommodating and once he understands the rules/boundaries of the home, he is very well behaved.
Badge love to have a chat and a chirp to himself and loves to have a play with a thing on a stick or similar.
He loves a pat and is happy to be picked up, but hasn't quite got the hang of 'lap sitting' just yet, but we have no doubt he will work that out in the not too distant future!
While he has shown interest in going outside, due to his fair colouring, he is looking for a home where he will have supervised outdoor time only, or time in a secure enclosure, he is not suited to a home where he is able to leave the property, he is too friendly and will likely wander as far as it takes to find a new friend!
Honey Badger is in care in Croydon North.
Medical notes
Honey Badger goes to his new home desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and professionally groomed.
