Please meet the gentle and soft natured Leo!
Leo came into SHARI's care as he wasn't coping in the shelter environment and was slowly shutting down. Now that he is in a loving foster home he is really making himself at home.
Leo will need a very patient and understanding new owner who will take most things slow with him. While we are unsure of his history, we believe something happened in the past for him to be so timid. He is especially shy around men, with a kind touch Leo soon learns they aren't out to hurt him.
He has amazing manners, is toilet trained, wonderful with other dogs of both gender and is even great with cats.
Leo is happy to be outside most of the time however does enjoy time inside with his family. He must go to a home with another dog, big or small, he really thrives off their company.
Due to his shy nature, he would be best suited with children over 12 years old as he is spooked by sudden and loud noises.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
**Please note that all paperwork including the Microchip Change of owner form will be handed over after the 10 day trial period.**
