About Teeny ~ koolie x cattle dog (on trial 8/10/16)
Teeny is a 1 year old, female, koolie X red cattle dog, looking for a loving home. She is well behaved and very quiet, we hardy hear a woof out of her. Teeny is a very loving dog with eyes that will melt your heart. She is just a big cuddler and loves to be by your side. She also likes to play chase with our other dog and enjoys squeaky toys.
She has the most stunning eyes! The top half of each eye is brown and the bottom half is blue! This beautiful combination is a rare characteristic of the koolie breed. Teeny's vision is normal but her eyes will certainly turn heads. She is medium sized. Learn more about this handsome breed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koolie.
Teeny is housetrained and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She is suitable for full-time workers as long as there is another dog to keep her company. If you don't work full time then she's fine as an only dog. She's great with other dogs that she meets and likes to play with them. We don't have a cat so don't know what she's like with them but can arrange to test her with a cat if needed.
Teeny can "sit" and "come" when asked and is very smart and will learn whatever you want to teach her. She'll be the star of the dog training class if you take her.
Teeny would suit someone looking for a companion to snuggle up to, or a family that can give her lots of love and care. She would either need to be with another dog for company or with someone who has time to spend with her. She needs a yard with good high fences and she is very talented at jumping up on things. She is good with children. If you want an affectionate, quiet, clever young dog to be a member of your family please consider Teeny.
For more information or to meet Teeny, please contact her foster carer Kathleen on 0402 726 514 or email(preferrred) Kathleen_ross@hotmail.com. Teeny is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Teeny's adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
