OUR ADOPTION PROCESS

1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.

Farmdogz is in need of more foster carers, while your searching for your newest family member, why not consider helping out until the right dog comes along for you. Fostering helps to provide a dog facing euthanasia with a new chance at family life, brining them into your home helps them learn what living in a home is really like. You also give them basic obidience so they learn the appropriate manners for people's homes. If you want to know more, just ask... No obligation and if you decide no that's ok, we will still keep working with you to find the right one to come to your home as the perfect adoption.
