If your looking for a young, energetic, super handsome family dog/working dog who is easily trainable, child friendly and extremely clever, then you have hit the Jackpot!

Bodhi is my name, and I’m almost 4mths old. I’ve been well socialized with dogs of all ages and sizes and currently in foster care with 5 other dogs. These 4 legged furry friends are my mates and we all get along like we’ve been together forever. I’m also living with older children who all ADORE me along with my foster mum and dad.

I’m extremely focused when the treats come out which will make it easy for you to train me. My foster mum still has to remind me to wait my turn when we are all getting our treats but I do respond well to the commands ‘sit’ and ‘wait’. I just get so excited and want everyone’s treats. At dinner time though, I’m already sitting and waiting for my foster mum before she even gets to me. I learnt really quickly that if I move towards the bowl before she says ‘ok’, that bowl disappears right before my eyes. So I will happily sit and wait until given the command to eat.

You’ll be happy to know that I’m fully toilet trained and will use the doggie door to take myself out to the toilet. I’m used to spending my days outside with my mates and then we are allowed to be both inside and outside of an afternoon and evening. We are all lucky enough to sleep inside with our foster family and am happy to snuggle up in my comfy bed on my own and sometimes with one of my mates.

Whilst I would make a fantastic family dog, I’m built from working breeds and therefore would do well on property, a farm or an active family who are committed to providing me with the exercise and mental stimulation that us working breeds need. My foster mum says I’d do great at Agility which sounds like a lot of fun! I’m not keen on the idea of being an only dog and would much prefer to have a doggie companion to help teach me the ropes and keep me entertained.
