About Aramon
This boy is in disguise. They grey around his face is so his old home can never find him again as he is loving his new life! This boy is all about seeing the world and is always happy running around smelling what the world has to offer. He enjoys his freedom so much he barely notices the other dogs wrestling next to him or trying to annoy him. He is one man on a mission to see what he’s missed out on in his life.
Aramon thoroughly enjoys his morning walks and is pretty well mannered on the leash. He is happy to plod along in front on a loose lead or will heal with a reminder. He has shown he still has some strength in him and is always trying to prove he is not an old dog!
He is obedient with a sit and will sit proudly on your feet looking up with his eyes saying ‘hello I’m a good boy! I need my pat now!’ The smile on his face when you rub his chest and tell him yes he’s a good boy will melt anyone’s heart. And if he really loves you he’ll lean back on you and slide down your legs till he’s flopped all over the ground, tummy up waiting for a tummy rub! He loves it.
Aramon was found in a pretty poor condition but is looking amazing now. He is putting weight on and enjoying the luxury of food! He is learning drop (with the sneaky treats) and currently sleeps in a crate and is silent all night. He goes crazy for a kong stuffed with BBQ chicken or peanut butter, so any long lasting treats will have him occupied for hours.
He has had a few trips to the dog park all with the same outcome, smell everything, explore every corner and drink lots of water from all the excitement. He is learning the car is the part that gets us to these fun places and enjoys the ride however definitely needs to be clipped in as he can’t control his excitement. He has shown an interest in smaller pets, although he is learning very quickly if you go near the goat your mum won’t be happy, sot best not to tempt Aramon with potential animals that could have been food in his past life when he was hungry!
This boy doesn't have an old bone in his body, except his potential to act that he’s loosing his hearing when its time to go home at the dog park! Aramon is looking for a home that will explore and show him the world he’s missed out on. Someone that will enjoy morning walks in the sun and I have a hunch he will love the water when the weather heats up!
Aramon requires a home filled with love and a warm comfy bed. Another mellow dog for company would be fine or someone home more often than not.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
