About Daisy *On Trial in Her New Home*
*DAISY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Loyal and loving all-rounder Daisy is looking for a forever home that will adore her, play with her and treat her as part of the family; will it be with you?
Daisy is a gorgeous dog with a terrific nature - she greets everyone she meets with excitement and loves big cuddles; she’s one of those friendly, happy dogs you can’t help but fall in love with. She really loves human company and would benefit from owners who are home often and can give her the attention she’s worthy of. She’s good with other dogs though wouldn’t mind being the only child in her forever home as that’s what she’s used to, and she’s also great with cats having lived with one in her previous life.
Reluctantly surrendered to us for rehousing, as her owner works long hours and feels she deserves better, Daisy would be better suited to a home with older children as she may accidentally bowl the little ones over as she does tend to jump up a bit when she’s excited.
An accident a couple of years ago where Daisy took a tumble from a ute has left her with stretched tendons/ ligaments/nerves in her right front paw making it quite floppy though she feels no pain, and it hasn’t slowed her down one bit which you can see in her video: https://youtu.be/-EIW-y2PZGA
Clever Daisy has lovely manners and knows “sit” and walks well on a lead. She knows her name and will walk beside you while off-lead, and if she does run off no need to worry as she has excellent recall. As her video shows she loves to play fetch bringing the ball or toy back every time. She travels well in a car or ute and is a good swimmer. With her working dog genes she’ll need a daily workout and a good sized, secure yard. Daisy doesn’t normally dig or chew and she rarely barks which is a bonus!
Although Daisy sleeps outside she is toilet-trained and well-behaved inside so we’d like to see her in an indoor/outdoor lifestyle in her forever home as Border Collie’s thrive on being part of their ‘pack’.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
