About Rummi *On Trial in His New Home*
*RUMMI IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Adorable Rummi is a happy, healthy puppy who just wants your love. He is looking for a fun-loving forever home that can help this handsome boy reach his full potential: will it be with you?
Recently rescued from Broken Hill Pound, where he’d ended up through no fault of his own, Rummi is a huggable, laidback young fella who is relaxed and very welcoming of visitors – his funny stumpy-tail (a birth defect) wags at a million miles an hour!
While in foster care he has been living with 3 small dogs and a similar aged puppy and enjoys playing with them all, although he is unaware of his size and does tend to play a bit too rough with the older dogs and cat. This is why we would only recommend him to a home with older children and larger animals. Rummi loves to rough and tumble with his bestie Randall the Staffy x puppy. They drag each other around the yard or play tug-o-war with their toys and then curl up together (or on top of each other!) for a well-deserved nap. As he is used to having company Rummi would benefit from a canine companion if you were away for much of the day at work or being a young puppy he may get bored and up to mischief.

When given the chance, Rummi loves spending time indoors as he thrives on human company and has gotten the hang of toilet-training as well as using the doggie door. He sleeps inside at night in his crate which he shares with his mate Randall.
Rummi is quite food orientated and quickly picked up “sit” especially when there’s delicious Schmackos involved! As he’s only a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners. Being fostered on acreage he hasn’t spent much time on a lead so will need some help with this in his forever home.
Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on, toys to play with and lots of cuddles will make Rummi a very happy puppy indeed!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
