About Fred
Fred is about 4 months old with a very soft, velour coat. He loves cuddles and games in about equal proportions, and is good with people, other dogs, strange sounds, storms, etc. Judging from his paws and current weight, Fred may grow into quite a large dog.
He is generally quiet but has the cutest bark when he gets excited - particularly around breakfast and dinner time! Fred is very smart. He's already toilet trained, can use a dog door, and also sit, drop and come. Currently he's working on fetch, leg weaving, loose lead walking and doing longer stays. As he is an intelligent dog, he will need a household that can provide plenty of stimulation and will continue his obedience training.
He is very focused on his family and likes to be with them when they are home, but is happy outside by himself when they are out. While he is currently living with two other dogs and would love a live-in playmate in his new home, he does equally well when home alone and generally retires to his bed to await the return of his family.
Fred costs $400 to adopt and this helps to cover some of his veterinary treatment as he comes desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flead.
