About Lucas
Meet handsome little Lucus
Lucas is a sweet natured 6-week-old boy whose Mum, an American staffy X, was rescued from the pound by Wally’s Doggie Rescue when she was 10 days off whelping. This beautiful friendly boy is in foster care with 3 adult dogs, and four of his siblings and he is good with them all. Lucas is crate trained through the night and is progressing well with toilet training during the day. Lucas is an energetic Staffy type personality who is energetic and will need consistent training to grow into a well behaved dog. He has a cheeky nature and loves other dogs and his humans. His Mumma is also a Staffy type and the most gentle loving girl who adores all people, including the postie, who she licked when he was brave enough to come in the yard with 5 barking dogs to deliver a parcel.
Lucas will need a big sized yard, lots of walks and plenty of human company to keep him happy. He is a dog who needs to be inside a lot with his family to be settled and well behaved and to sleep inside. Ideally he would also have a dog companion to help teach him his doggie manners and play with him but if he has people around a lot and is walked every day he would be ok as an only dog. Commitment to training is strongly recommended so that Lucas grows up to be a happy, well-mannered, sociable boy especially as he will be a biggish boy.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide three (3) free dog training sessions, so please be sure to utilise this awesome gift, which will benefit both you and Lucas. http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/
Lucas will come microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. He is booked for desex and will be ready for adoption in mid October. He is located on the Central Coast of NSW.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
