On Hold
Sampson is a very loyal gentle and well behaved lad. He is a pure bred border collie. He was surrendered into our veterinary clinic adoption program as he needed surgery on his knee for patella luxation. His owners could not afford the procedure and were going to euthanase him. We have operated on his knee fixing the luxation. He will not have a completely normal knee but the small amount of arthritis he will have later in life is no reason to cut his life short. Sampson lives to run. He is already trying to run on the knee 3 weeks post op. He is great with other dogs and cats but he is not trustworthy around birds. Sampson enjoys following you around the house and yard and is very content to sit and watch and wait. He is a very clever lad and has learnt many commands. Sampson would make an ideal pet for any family. He deserves this second chance at a happy and full life.
Right patella surgery 3 weeks ago. Otherwise perfectly healthy. Will have mild arthritis in the knee later in life.
Contact the clinic for an adoption application form. Meet and greet. Fully fenced yard and property checks performed. 2 weeks trial period.
