About Mae (Dog Small/Large Friendly)
Meet Mae, a gorgeous young greyhound who was deemed "to slow" for the race track and we agree. After being saved by Wally's Doggie Rescue from death row, it became quite clear that Mae, is a LAZY greyhound and prefers her humans over the racing career.
Mae is only 14 months old, and is adapting very quickly to a family environment and mult-dog household. She does like to be with her humans and follows you around the house like a shadow. Mae would suit someone home most of the time and have access to inside the home and your lounge. This is where Mae likes to spend her days resting and sleeping the day away. Mae is beautiful girl with a soft sweet nature, she never stops wingling her tail and all she want is to be loved and wanted.
Mae is still learning what being a dog is all about and is getting used to toys and balls, and that you play with them NOT watch them in confusion. Mae walks well on a lead and longs for her furever home.
Mae has had all her vetwork completed and is available for a meet and greet today. Please call Amanda on 0411699213.

Adoption details
Wally's Doggie Rescue offers a 2 week trial period to ALL pups/dogs adopted by us. We give ongoing support to our adopters through a CLOSED FACEBOOK page where you can ask training questions, share your photos and chat to other people who have adopted a Wally's Doggie rescue animal. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
When enquiring about MAE, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (rental agreement to be sited), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you. Wally's Doggie Rescue would also arrange a yard check of your property or have photos/videos sent of your yard, to ensure it is fully fenced and adequate shelter is provided.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
