Darcy

Meet Mr Darcy a good natured and placid Swiss white shepherd male dog who is currently in care at Windsor, NSW.

Darcy is seven years old and is a pure Swiss White Shepherd who was brought into a Sydney Animal Shelter and his owner never came to claim him. We can tell that his previous home failed to provide him with the care to ensure his coat and ears had proper attention so we are having him professionally hydrobathed and groomed and his ears will be cleaned and cream applied to heal those fly struck tips.

This boy is a gentle boy who is good with his humans and very voice responsive and attentive. We have found Darcy to be good to walk on lead and just a gentleman. He is no problem in the car and we feel due to his size he is better suited to a family with older children.

Darcy has not been tested with cats or pockets pets but being a shepherd breed his natural instinct is to heard so probably best not to go to a home with cats or small dogs.

So if you are looking for a companion dog to be with you in your home and to take for a gentle walk each day then Mr Darcy is the dog for you.
