About Layla
Please meet lovely Layla. She is a 2 year old Wolfhound x.
Layla is a gentle, quiet and shy girl - however once she gets to know and trust you, she definitely comes out of her shell.
She is an intelligent girl and being a Wolfhound, her breed are known to be relatively easy to train. A gentle approach with plenty of understanding will go a very long way with Layla.
She loves to go for a walk and is very well mannered on her lead. She very rarely pulls at all and when she does it is only very lightly.
Layla shows no sign of aggression or seperation anxiety, however she can be frightened of loud noises and would need to be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where she can feel safe.
This beautiful girl is looking for a forever home with a patient owner who is willing to work with her and help her overcome her fears and gain her confidence. She may not be suited to a family with small children as they could accidentally scare her, however older children who understand her sensitivities would be fine. Layla is a very loyal girl and would make a wonderful addition for the right family.
Layla has previously lived with Sunny (a golden labrador) and she does gain some confidence from him. For a ready made doggie family, check out Sunny's profile and ask the facility staff about the special adoption package fee for both of them.
Layla's adoption fee is $350 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Layla is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
