About Axel
Introducing Axel. This sweet boy is a JRT x Cattle dog and is 11 months old.
Axel is larger than an average JRT, but smaller than a cattle dog and he has taken on the best traits of both breeds.
He loves to go for a walk and is very well behaved on his lead. Axel would suit most families as he doesn't jump and he can sit on command.
Axel gets along well with cats and he does also like his doggy friends, although at times he can be selective of who he wants to be his friend. He would need an introduction if he is to be rehomed with another dog to ensure that they get along.
He is a very sweet boy who shows no sign of food aggression. We feel he may have a little bit of seperation anxiety and would be best rehomed with a family who doesn't leave him alone for long periods of time. He can also be frightened by loud noises and would need to be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where he will feel safe.
Axel is still a pup and would benefit greatly from positive and gentle training. Socialisation with other dogs would also help him.
He is looking for a forever home where he can be included in the day to day activities of the family. Further training will help him to enhance his already delightful personality and as he seems eager to learn and please, he would enjoy learning some new tricks.
Axel's adoption fee is $405 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Axel is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
