Penny

Hi my name is Penny. Sadly I’m very overweight so I will be happy when I get adopted and loose some of these extra kilo’s, then my life will be a lot easier!!
I came from a pound so not much is known about me apart from my temp test and short stay at SRV.
I’ve been good with other dogs whilst at SRV, I know how to sit but that’s all. I will need to go to obedience school to learn more.
Below are some of the notes from my behavioural assessment.

Summary of Test
• Penny is very obese and needs to lose quite a substantial amount of weight.
• Very friendly and sociable dog, seeks engagement from humans
• Generally shows to have a calm disposition
• Can jump up when she becomes a little excited
• Low frustration – does not rouse easily or maintain levels for long.
• Tolerant of touch and restraint although a little hand shy if you come over her quickly. Tends to roll on her back.
• Nil reaction to sudden noises
• Nil resource guarding seen at time of testing
• Nil aggression or issues with other dogs.
• No obedience training evident

Adoption Criteria
• Any family situation
• Low energy levels would suit middle aged and semi-retired couple
• Not tested with cats
• Will require testing with other dog.
