About Sandy
I am 8mths old and I love to cuddle. I am a Jack Russel x Pomeranian, but I look a bit like a Dachshund. I have the most beautiful silky golden coat.
I absolutely adore my humans and like to be with you. I also get along really well with other dogs and I am fostered with both kelpies and dogs my own size. I am a happy wiggly girl who loves to play, and I really love my belly being rubbed. I’m pretty sure I would love kids too as they would be fun.
I will need leadership, guidance and training. Even though I like to push boundaries I will be much more settled with rules and a routine.
I'm learning sit and I walk very well on a lead.
I am a bit of a princess, and I would prefer to sleep in bed with you but I am learning to sleep happily in my crate in my foster carer’s room. Don’t try and put me in a different room though or you won’t get any sleep!
I would love a family who is home a lot, who will cuddle me, play with me, take me on outings and guide me with rules so I will settle

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
