About Honey *On Trial in Her New Home*
*HONEY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Love me, play with me, and treat me as part of the family!! This is all that Honey wants from her forever home; will it be with you?
Honey is a gorgeous dog with a terrific nature - she greets her foster carer with excitement and loves big cuddles; she’s one of those dogs who paw you when you stop patting her so be prepared! She really loves human company and would benefit from owners who are home often and can give her the attention she deserves. She also loves toys especially those with squeakers but the tougher the better as Honey’s been known to gut a new toy in about 5 minutes flat! This cheeky girl likes to bury the toys belonging to the dog she’s sharing her foster home with so that he can’t have them! She’s good with other dogs though wouldn’t mind being the only child in her forever home, and she’s also great with cats having lived with one in her previous life.
Surrendered to us for rehousing, as her owner was moving to Tassie and couldn’t take her with them, Honey would be better suited to a home with older children as she may accidentally bowl the little ones over when she’s excited. When she first came into care she was quite overweight but with good food and daily exercise she’s already started to look and feel lighter on her feet.

Clever Honey has lovely manners and knows “sit” and walks well on a lead. She knows her name and mostly has good recall when off-lead unless she’s caught a scent and then you’ll see her stubborn side. She loves to play fetch bringing the ball or toy back every time. With her working dog genes she’ll need a daily workout and a good sized, secure yard so she doesn’t get bored and up to mischief.
Honey is housetrained (she sleeps under her foster carer’s bed), and enjoys an indoor / outdoor lifestyle which we’d want to see continued in her forever home.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
