Scout

Introducing SCOUT (D28913) the 15 week old Labrador cross male pup(Possibly Great Dane). Scout is in foster care with older children, appears to be house trained (as he takes himself out the dog door to go to the toilet), loves cuddles and plays fetch. Scout can be vocal if let outside alone as he loves company. Scout would be best suited to a home where he has another larger breed dog that loves to play for companionship. Scout walks well on lead, is responding well to coming back when called and he has a great personality. We don't know what other breed mix Scout is but we anticipate it is a larger breed as his paws are quite large for his age.

Due to his size Scout is not suitable for a home with infant or children under 6 years of age due to his size and puppy behaviours.

Scout will need a home that is committed to continuing the training and exposing him to different people, environments and socialising with other dogs. Scout needs and wants to be with his humans so he is not a dog that will be happy being outside on his own. Currently he sleeps inside near his humans - in the passage way.

Scout has been untested with cats.

Scout's adoption fee is $400 and this helps to cover some of his veterinary treatment as he comes desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. If adopted within HRCC this also covers the remainder of the registration year.
