About Tully ~ Whippet x Jack Russell (on trial 22/09/16)
Introducing stunning Tully - 8 month old Whippet x Jack Russell! She has the most gorgeous eyes which remind you of an Egyptian princess! Tully is an absolute delight and will melt your heart. Tully loves getting out and about meeting people and new doggie friends. She travels great in the car and walks very well on a lead.
Tully was rescued from a pound and is currently in foster care with two small senior dogs and a kitty cat. Tully would be best suited with a younger doggie friend to play with as her two senior doggie friends cannot keep up with her. Tully loves to play but she is not rough at all, she just loves a good game of chase. Tully isn't currently living with children but when she has met them on walks she has been good with them.
Tully is an intelligent girl and a fast learner. She has responded well to learning basic commands but will need a forever home where her training will be continued. Tully is toilet trained, does not bark or dig…. She is a very well behaved young girl.
Tully loves food so much she is a guzzler and will also try to eat her fur brother’s food. While eating she needs to be supervised to encourage her to slow down. Tully is an inside /outside dog and currently sleeps inside with her foster family.
It is essential that Tully’s new adopted family will offer her an active lifestyle and want a doggie companion who they will love and include as part of their family. If you can provide the life that she deserves I would love to hear from you.
For more information or to meet Tully, please email her foster mum Karen at ksluyter@exemail.com.au Tully is in foster care in the
Newcastle area and is not available for adoption interstate.
Tully’s adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
