Buddy ~ Kelpie puppy (on trial 25/09/16)

Buddy is 16 week old Kelpie puppy looking for his forever family! He is currently living with 3 dogs, a cat and two kids and is doing great! He loves everyone and everyone loves him – its impossible not to love him!

Buddy has the sweetest nature and loves playtime with his human and doggy foster siblings a Chihuahua, Maltese and Collie – he is great with kids and very respectful of adult dogs!

His favorite game is fetch ball - will bring the ball back and sit nicely until you throw it again!! Belly rubs and cuddles are also top on his list!!

Our cat isn’t too impressed with him and he doesn’t seem to bothered with her either which works well.

True to his breed he is showing signs of being super smart and has picked up the house rules very quickly - he is toilet trained and will sleep happily in his crate at night. He has also started basic training – sit, stay and wait.

He travels well in the car and will generally snooze through the journey!

Buddy would suit an active family with or without another dog. He will definitely need someone who has the time and commitment to continue his training, will give him lots of exercise and has a fully fence yard. In return he will give you endless love and has the potential to be a wonderful furry family member!

We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

As Buddy is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when he's old enough.
