About Constantine
Hello my name is Constantine, but please call me Connie. I am a 14 week old border collie x pup (My foster family thinks crossed with a staffy, but that is only guess work, we don’t know)
When I was born with my 6 other siblings, we were left behind by humans, so I am very shy and unsure about you at first. If you give me lots of patience and TLC I will give you back lots of kisses and love. I need to be given time to establish myself within my family to gain trust. I would benefit from puppy training so that I get to learn more rules as well as having opportunities to socialize. I am getting used to the lead and start to enjoy going for walks with my foster mum. Discovering new things are exciting for me, but also frightening, especially cars driving past really scare me. But this is slowly improving, as long as socialization will be continued in my new home. I will need an owner, who is understanding and gives me time to get used to new things and takes one step at time with me.
Toilet training is going well, during the day I only have rare accidents, as long as you give me frequent access to go outside. At night, I am crate trained.
Connie is an adorable, timid pup with a cheeky streak when she becomes comfortable with you. After settling in and feeling comfortable, she is a typical playful and active puppy, who needs plenty of stimulation. She is currently living with her foster family with three kids, one other dog and two cats. She is used to all of them, but can still be a little scared at times with the adults, she enjoys to play chasey with the kitten at times, so would be suited to live with confident cats.
She would love a home that will give her lots of love and patience to continue building trust and confidence. Another dog in the home would be the best suit, but she will consider a home without.
