Meet big personality Annika!

This lovely lady has the looks and temperament to win hearts, young and old!

Gorgeous little Annika came into foster care heavily pregnant from the pound, where she was surrendered as a stray. The ladies at the pound started to notice her growing appetite and belly and contacted Claws 'n' Paws Rescue. Annika is a tabby tortoiseshell. Her super silky, marbled tabby coat is splashed with bits of ginger with the cutest little bindi on her forehead.

Annika is a confident, loving, friendly and tolerant kitty. She adores her cuddles and kisses and even with the stress of the pound, a change in environment and change in people and scents, Annika has not shown any sign of fear or aggression. She loves to talk and will tell you everything she's up to all day. She always wants to know what you're doing so you better keep her informed!

She is great with kids and although untested with dogs, her confident and curious nature will no doubt fit into any cat friendly home.

Annika is looking for a home with her foster sister Zelda (see her profile here https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/482988). Both cats arrived in care pregnant and instantly bonded, they even raised their kittens together and now spend hours playing and grooming one another. It's very sweet to see such a rare bond! Their current favourite game is moving balls of yarn around the house..... I never catch them in the act but I suspect Annika is the leader!

Annika gave birth the six gorgeous kittens, her three sons are healthy and strong babies who have thrived and become such amazing little cats. Unfortunately her three daughters were born prematurely and were given every chance at survival, but passed away peacefully, having known a loving and dedicated mum and aunt duo.

This lovely girl is now ready to find her true (indoor) home where she can be safe and have a long happy life with her sister friend Zelda.
