About Mackenzie @ The Pet House, Erina
Beautiful Mackenzie is a tough little cookie that has survived a paralysis tick and respiratory infection, as well as life on the street after being abandoned. She was taken to a local veterinary clinic by a family that had been feeding and caring for her since moving into the house Mackenzie was hanging around, it was then they discovered the engorged paralysis tick and acted quickly to save Mackenzie's life. This little soldier was so scared, however she constantly purred and put her paw through the cage bars for human support.
It is unknown if she has ever had a family and home to call her own, but she has shown how determined she is to survive and have a safe and secure home.
Mackenzie has learnt that humans are friends and not creatures that will hurt or abandon her. When she first came into care she was hesitant around people who wanted to hold and pat her and gave a warning nip when attention was too much. Mackenzie is such a friendly and loving little girl , who wraps her self around humans legs and loves scratches on her head and chin. She loves her snuggly, cave bed, but when she knows she can have attention .. or food .. she is out of the cave before you are ready with the food.
She is absolutely beautiful, and ready to bond with her forever family and settle into her safe, loving and forever home.
Mackenzie would definitely strive in an INDIDE ONLY, ONLY CAT household, however with proper introduction , a feline companion is definitely a possibility. It is unknown how she responds to canine companion or young children.
