About Ben 10
Pow! Hi! I'm Ben 10 and I'm ready to come racing into your life to fill it with love and cuddles. Well, I'm going to race kind of slowly, since I had this accident a little while ago... I found myself homeless living on the streets. A nice lady was putting out food for me every day and then one day I didn't come for dinner. She went looking but couldn't find me. The next day she swore she could hear me somewhere, crying in pain, but still she couldn't find me. Then on the 3rd day I limped back to her - she could instantly see that something was wrong.
She took me to the vet and they said I had a broken leg. My ankle was smashed - it hurt so much! - I couldn't walk on it at all. The nice lady cried and cried but she said they would have to put me to sleep because she couldn't afford to fix my leg. It was all looking pretty grim!
Then just in the nick of time, another lovely lady found out about me and my plight and said "no! SAFE will take him!" So then I had a huge surgery to put metal pins in my leg and I had a cast put on it too. People have been raising money to help cover the costs of my treatment - isn't that the coolest?! The cast has been off for 2 weeks now and I am walking well. In two weeks time I will have another operation to remove the pins from my leg and then I will be ready to go into my new home. I would love to meet my new family now, so that as soon as I am better, I can go home with them!.
I have been repeatedly told that I have a friendly, gentle face and that pretty much sums me up. I'm affectionate and loving and really enjoy human company. I like pats and cuddles and would be great in a home with kids. I could live with another cat or a dog, pending an appropriate and slow introduction. I am a really great all-rounder who still has some kitten-ish behaviours too. Also food is pretty much my favourite thing ever.
It is possible that i will always have a slight limp due to my injury though that should be the extent of things. For safety's sake, I would prefer to be a primarily indoors cat please!
If you think I'm the perfect kitty for you, get in touch today!!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
