Quintus

Introducing Quintus!

He's a small breed, 5 year old cloud of prancing fluffiness! His past times include sleeping on the bed, lounge, laps and all varieties of soft items that may be found laying about.

When he's not sleeping he enjoys bossing around the big dogs and the cats and barking at strangers that dare enter his kingdom--for you see Quintus is a prince! (Obviously)

He would do best in a home with an older man or older couple (would bond most closely to the man) and another small dog or dog that knows how to be around small dogs. He does get along with cats. He is not used to being left alone as he was a full time companion for his previous owner before he was not able to keep him anymore due to medical reasons. He does not like being left alone and may cry/howl for a bit after you leave.

Due to dental disease he will be having a number of teeth removed before being adopted and would need to be fed an appropriate diet to be able to keep the remaining teeth. This will not cause trouble with him eating at all, but it is essential to preserve as much of the remaining teeth as possible of course.

Quintus will require regular grooming due to his breed and any adopters need to be able to do this or see that it is done every 4-6 weeks by a professional.
