About Jolly
Jolly’s family has separated and so they have made the hard decision to part with him and so we are now looking to find him a home as soon as possible.
Jolly is a 12 month old beautifully bred German Shepherd and he is a typical exuberant pup. He will need a firm hand and a very experienced owner. He is a very loving dog but very strong and will need discipline and boundaries.
Jolly has had basic training and responds well to commands. He is far too over the top for young children and for the same reason we would prefer he be an only dog.
Jolly is OK with other dogs but at this age he will play roughly. He has had a tough time of late and he is, therefore, not mentally strong enough to be expected to be a guard dog.
As with all our shepherds someone must be home most of the time and include, as they would all family members, in as many family activities as is practicable. He must have his place in the house and he must be given plenty of exercise and a good diet. If you can offer this most handsome lad a forever home please contact Jo on 9476 2782.
Jolly has not been tested with pocket pets, cats or small dogs and so we recommend he be the only pet in the home. Currently in care at Hornsby please email Jo with details of your experience with this breed, etc.
Medical notes
Jolly is a desexed male German Shepherd who has been vaccinated and us on heart worm prevention. Jolly comes with a full vet history.
